Millsaps v Trinity (TX)

By now we have all seen it. Seven players, 15 laterals. Trinty (TX) defeated Millsaps 28-24. My good buddy Tom Rinaldi, Millsaps '06, has always complained that he had to explain where his school was and how big it is. Well Tom, you no longer have to. Now when you proudly wear your Millsaps College shirt everyone will say, "That's the team that lost on the last play of the game. Man, that's the best play I've ever seen."

So the Millsaps game has been compared to the Cal v. Stanford game for the past week, and it has been embarassing. It hurts to be an alumnus of a program that has lost such an important close game. I guess now I know how it has felt to be a Florida State fan for the past decade.

FSU has won a National Championship, and lost three others in the past decade. So if you're comparing Millsaps to a team that has contended for a Division I title several times in the past decade then I guess you're right...

that's exactly what i'm doing (maybe i went a little over board by saying decade)...i'm comparing the feeling of sorrow that i felt after watching that one play to the sorrow that you must have felt from watching FSU drop out of the rankings last year and only get a bid to the "emerald bowl".....but trust me I will be rooting for FSU as they face BC this weekend...Hell I even think that Millsaps could beat BC (they are highly overrated)
